This was an idea first brought up a few years ago -- that we pick a date (far in advance) and we time our visits to coincide. It would be nice to meet face-to-face for once. When I suggested this before the two dates mentioned were April 23 and around the time of the Brau Beviale in Nürnberg (Mid November). November is a bad time of the year for me, so I'm going to propose April 23 (or whenever they hold the "Day of Beer") 2009 as First Annual . Not only is it a chance for us to meet in person, we also can possibly arrange some tours, rent a bus and driver and go pub crawling in the countryside, etc. etc. Possibly even arrange a discount at a large hotel (Ibis?) So, is anybody interested? No commitments needed this far in advance, but if it's something you might try and do, post a reply (or send me an email) here.
