| There are two different events: The day of the beer: 23th april, a national event (a marketing trick from the brewer association) with a local event at the Maxplatz. You can drink beers of all breweries of Bamberg (a special small glas). A new event from 9th to 17th may ("Bamberger Biertage" - days of beer). This event is organised from the city marketing association (Stadtmarketing Bamberg) http://www.mybamberg.de/ This event is a renascence of an old event tradition (until 1988).
