Brauerei Barnikel

Thats for sure; its a bus-stop by the church in Herrnsdorf. From Frensdorf to Herrnsdorf it is 4 km one way. If you like old-fashioned breweries or inns is this brewery a must. The furnitures and the whole buliding is very old. Here you got the feeling to be an the countryside in a real old dorf. The brewery is back the church of the bus-stop and the "main-road". The brewery is from 1366 ! and is still running of the whole family. Good meat to low costs, but the beer you have to consume in a week or two. Barnikel produce lagerbier, rauchbier and hefeweizen. They have open from 9 to 23 every day exept wednesdays ! Barnikel has also own spirits from Herrnsdorf. Specialities: 1 Karpfen (fish), 2 Spargel 3 Wild (saisonal). Barnikel produce 1500 hl every year. It is worth a trip !
