Haxen in Bamberg

The cuisine there is a bit more...elevated, IMO, than at run-of-the-mill Brauereigaststätten. Which is not to suggest that Haxen shouldn't be considered part of an elevated cuisine. Can't agree strongly enough--very good value and quality for the price. Haxen at Schl'la LOOKED very good last week, but when I'm faced with a Bamberger Zwiebel on the menü, that's what I order.
