| I certainly will give into the temptation. As I will to the temptation to sample the Schl'la Fastenbier on Mittwoch, when it will be tapped. Well, maybe not at 9.30, when the literal tapping will take place....probably a bit later on in the day. I shall have to find some business in Bamberg as an excuse to head up there. We were at Schl'la for the first time in months yesterday, and it was simply wonderful to sit there and enjoy the atmosphere without suffering from the smoke. The Märzen was fresh and fine, the Weizen too, and the Zwiebelrostbraten gigantic and good. And I saw on the menu that they will be be open Tuesdays starting in May--no more Ruhetag. Have they always done this: give up their Ruhetag in summer? |
