| The brewerymuseum I find indeed interesting. It is in the buildings of the former Mönchshof Brauerei, and there is a micro-brewery with glass kettles! They normally brew on wednesdays, and a beer is included in your ticket. Close by is Kulmbacher Kommunbräu, a house brewery, also recommended. Bayreuth is interesting also. I'd recommend a visit to the beermuseum here as well. The old Maisel brewery can be visited in a tour only, but there is one open to everyone each day at 14:00 hrs. (no reservation necesssary). |
