Perceptions

I doubt the locals in Bamberg are especially interested in a few Americans are doing. Bamberg is a relatively small city and curiosity is natural. I lived in Bamberg for over three years and have visited numerous times since without feeling suspect. I don't mind handing my room key over ( as in the National) nor otherwise while in the Ibis, but a friendly apartment wold be appreciated anywhere.
