Erlangen's over rated?!? By whom? It's a great place to live, but not to drink beer, IMO. Here's a little webbie I wrote up some time ago, but which haven't updated, nor have I written a deutsche Version for it (sorry about the pop-ups, you get what you pay for): http://erlangernick.freewebsitehosting.com/ I wouldn't call Sauer's (Gunzendorf) Kellerbier "great", but maybe I've been unlucky. Nice winter bock though. Löwenbräu in Adelsdorf-Neuhaus: nice place with better than average food, okay beers. Not worth much effort to check out though, but we like the hour bike ride to the Keller in the woods. Agreed on Hartmann. Somewhat over-rated, I think. Agreed on Hirschaid!
