| So the lack of really cheap train fares prompted me to consider going to either the Zum Schlüssel Stike on the 24.10 or Schumacher's Latzenbier day on 15.11 instead. Die Bahn is offering good prices for both of those days, but...hotel prices are way, way out of line. Must be a convention going on. So I decided to bite the bullet and reserve a room for the Sticke day. I'll see if I can go haggle a Sparangebote from the nice Bahn people in person down at the station. I know Fred's been to Schlüssel's Stike, but has anyone been to Schumacher's Latzenbier day(s)? I've only been to Uerige's Sticke. Just curious if anyone prefers one of these more than the others. Of course Uerige have/has the best pub! |
