| hi, i would like to know if it's a good time to visit Bamberg. don't mind the cold, just want to sit in the warm pubs all day drinking all my favourite beers [i'm passionate about Franconian/Bamberger beers!] and eating... thing is, the boyfriend likes all that just as much but prefers to be somewhere *warmer* [we 've already planned our second return to Portugal for the wine and food]. Portugal is cold in the winter, btw, but probably not as cold as Bamberg :) so...beer? wine? beer? wine?..... go without the bf? :) cheers ps: 2 christmases ago in Czech Rep i spent more time in the local pubs than doing boring touristy things :) the bf had to do some other things on his own...LOLz... i had my priorities! |
