A weekend at the Sandkerwa in Bamberg

Glad you two enjoyed your trip, and that the weather was nice! Agreed on the excellence of the Sandkerwa, the food at Pfister, and the localness of the joints in Eggolsheim and Drügendorf. It's been a while since I've been to any of those three, in part because I found them all to have only mildly interesting beers a year or two ago, and have simply had too many other places to check out in the meantime. Next time, we'll get you two around to similar places by bike & train--the beers are that much better once you've worked up a thirst!
