| I'd highly, highly recommend lunch at Stiebarlimbach, Fri-Tue. On Wed & Thu they're only open after 15.30. Lunch there, then up the hill to the Kreuzberger Keller(s). It's been a couple of months since I've been up the hill, but last time, there was still construction going on for Friedel's new Übergaststätte or whatever-it-is they're building up there. I get just under 5 miles (8km) from Bahnhof to Kreuzberg along this route: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j175/erlangernick/stieb-neuses.jpg and Stiebarlimbach is a few hundred meters farther, about 50 or 60 m difference in elevation. Yes, there are buses--bus 265. |
