| Yes, the directions I posted are appropriate any time of year. I suppose I should recommend the Keller pouring Forchheimer beers, but I only really like two of the four breweries: Hebendanz and Neder. I suppose my favorite Keller would be the Neder. The Rappen Keller (Löwenbräu Buttenheim) is also good because of its beer, but it's a 'foreign' beer! You'll just have to pick a couple yourselves. Beware the Wolfshöher beer though, this is from a giant brewery. Though, I've never actually tried it, it MIGHT be good, I suppose. If the Hoffmann's Keller (Br. Krug) is open, go for it, as Krug is an excellent dark fränkisches Lager! I don't believe what's stated at the website I posted above though--that the Hoffmann is open all summer--I've only seen it open during Annafest. |
