Cask-conditioned St. G. Bräu in England |

Just heard about specially-brewed c-c St. Georgen Bräu having been served at a Real Ale festival in or near Manchester the other day...Sunday, I think. I need to head up to the brewery and ask them about this. FWIW, I was in Old Blighty the other week (Plymouth & Bristol), and fell in love --once again-- with several properly served RA's of 3.8-4.3%. What I wouldn't give to have such beers as Kellerbier here in Franken! Pity that I left most of my homebrewing apparatus in storage on another continent; I could see brewing a nice bitter here for at home. If I could get the proper yeast and hops, of course... |
