| Was delighted to use the new Luitpoldbrücke the other day by bike for the first time, that makes a v. nice stretch vom Bahnhof zum Zentrum, better than dealing with the foot-goer's-zone, I must say. And the U at the Spezial Keller Friday was possibly the freshest, *HOPpiest* that I've ever had it; a planned quick drop-in for one turned in to three or four right quick. It was almost homebrew-y fresh and hoppy. And the Schl. Fastenbier this year is much more interesting than I recall last year's being, FWIW. Very, very nice first Keller visit of the year for me. I saw that there were little hand-written signs on the tables in the rear half of the Sp. Keller Gaststätte simultaneously apologizing for and praising the new smoke-free situation there: The tables in back are smoke-free, though the front, through which you have to walk--and from which the smoke will drift regardless, is still smoking-impaired. |
