Lowenbrau of Buttenheim on Konigstr?

Take the train down to Buttenheim and pop into the Gaststätte behind the station. I've never been disappointed with the freshness there. Or hell, walk 20 minutes up to the brewery! (Or another 5 minutes from there to the Keller, if you're there on a Sunday afternoon and find the Gaststätte "geschlossen"!)
