Nice selection of Franconian beers at Bruxellensis festival |

| Last weekend I was in St. Gilles, Brussels, for the Bruxellensis festival. Although I went there of course for the Belgian beers, I must say there was a very nice range of Franconian beers available, thanks to the efforts of Dan Shelton. Breweries featured included Mahr, Spezial, Trunk (Vierzehnheiligen), Will (Schederndorf), Klosterbrauerei Weissenohe, plus various others. Add to that the franconian inspired Beersel Lager from 3 Fonteinen. A very good initiative! |
