| I personally find Gutmann Hefeweizen to be quite good; honestly, I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk about Mahrs' Weizen before this thread. Gutmann is fairly widely distributed, so I'd almost be surprised if your cousins don't have it at home. Email me (address below) and I'll round up a few different bottles of weizen for you. Just buy me a beer at Held in exchange (I'll even wear my Held Tshirt). The brewery Gaststätte in Adelsdorf-Neuhaus Don refers to is not open before 18.00 on Saturdays, and the beer ain't worth driving to IMO. (Worth biking to, if you happen to live an hour away from the splended Bierkeller in the woods though.) |
