Homebrewer Looking for Yeast!

Thanks for your reply. I have tried the the Wyeast & White labs products as well as Brewtek yeasts. All produce a fine beer, but they don't have the bold flavors of the German examples. I have read Eric's fine book and have concluded the yeast is the key. While I don't expect to completely mimic the German examples because I could never measure up to their brewing skill, I would like to try some yeast if I can find some. Any specific beer brands to get a bottle of would be a great help. I guess I will have to put the bottles in my checked baggage. Anybody ever flown with beer in your checked baggage?! Thanks again!
