Appendorf Friday night

Thanks to Nick B. we got good directions Bamberg-Dörfleins-Kemmern, and with the aid of a GPS gadget found the way through the woods to Appendorf. Fössel Friday night was really worth the effort - the beer was in good shape without being remarkable, but the ambiance when the village musicians started playing... real fun. The walk to Baunach took close to an hour, Sippel was closed :-( so we got some Herrenpils elsewhere and missed the last train back to Bamberg. Taxi 20 was worth it though. I should have learnt by now that September means Urlaub/vacation and that many breweries are closed. Nevertheless, we had a great week in Bamberg and surroundings.
