| These two breweries are very close neighbours, both are located on the picturesque "Hauptstrasse" (High Street). The Faust (formerly known as "Löwenbrauerei") brewery is the bigger one of them both (annual production around 40 000 hl), their brews are widely available in the area. The products of the smaller "Kalt-Loch-Brauerei" (production 4000 hl) are mainly available locally in Miltenberg. The Faust-Bräustüble (brewery-tap) can be found in a narrow lane opposite to the brewery, overlooking the banks of the river "Main"; the Kalt-Loch-Gasthaus is located next door to the brewery-office; there can be sampled the "Kalomator"-Doppelbock the whole year round.....Both (and the town of Miltenberg) are worth a visit. |
