| Hi Todd - forgot about Straub indeed. As an alternative, you might consider Salzburg. There is a lot going on in Austria the latter years, and in and around Salzburg there are a lot of new brewpubs with high quality beers. Try http://members.liwest.at/hoeglinger/ for an impression. Yes, I'll be going to the brau-beviale, staying in Bamberg for the week from monday to sunday. There is a lot of interesting things & fun then, Kaspar Schulz usually has a seminar, and of course the party at Weyermann on saturday after the brau. Jos |
