| Well, after all that discussion and detective work on the internet, I didn't get to Herrnsdorf or Sambach on this trip, but that was mostly because instead I went to Stiebarlimbach and Kreuzberg with Nick B.! Amazing place with 4 excellent bierkellers within walking distance. And on the way back to Bamberg we took a taxi to Hirschaid and stopped at Brauerei Kraus and their biergarten, too. Thanks for meeting up with me and for all your help, Nick. I am going to try to post more reports, but they might be in bits and pieces in various forum posts, unless I actually find the time to write a real article. I will post a link to my pics, too, once I get them online and annotated. Jimbo |
