| The Blues Bar is on the Sandstrasse, upstairs from Stilbruch. Its very much *not* a traditional Franconia pub. But Fässla Pils from the barrel is nice. I enjoyed my recent visits to Torshuster. In many ways it is kind of a "Belgian" pub -- lots of old signs on the wall, good music on the sound system and more variety in the bottle list than the draft list :) Its funny -- technically it is a Kaiserdom house -- but the only Kaiserdom beer is the non-alcoholic (and I can say Kaiserdom brews the best non-alcoholic beer brewed in Bamberg :) ). He has to sell 1 bottle a year -- so if you are there on Dec 31 and he is pushing the Kaiserdom ... :) I didn't spend too much time at Fässla Stub'n -- it was late and crowded (and I had a test in the morning) but I plan to spend a little more time there next visit. |
