As in, 2 "dumplings" with light gravy accompanying Schäufele...one of the pinnacles of "fränkische Küche", IMO. If the Klöße are done properly, of course--sticky Klöße that were badly made or that perhaps have sat too long before serving are no fun. I saw a very tasty looking plate of beef roulade with 2 Klöße and Blaukraut served as lunch in the garden behind Br. Hönnig in Tiefenellern just the other day, in fact. (€6 IIRC) If my timing had been better (I.E., not on a bike ride with dinner later at home), I'd have indulged in it myself. Ah well, next time.
