Where to Stay Before Flight out of Frankfurt?

I stayed at the Maritim Hotel once for business. Fantastic hotel, but very expensive. I have often stayed at the Hotel Miramar in the Römer area, http://www.frankfurt-tourismus.de/cms/tourismussuite/en/hotels_frankfurt_germany/hotel_accommodation_frankfurt/frankfurt_hotelguide.html?haus_id=109 and have stayed a couple of times at the Hotel Ibis Frankfurt West: http://www.ibishotel.com/ibis/fichehotel/gb/ibi/1589/fiche_hotel.shtml This is a good, modestly priced hotel, a few km outside the city center. A good web site for finding and booking hotels in Frankfurt am Main is this one: http://www.frankfurt-tourismus.de/cms/tourismussuite/en/hotels_frankfurt_germany/hotel_accommodation_frankfurt/index.html I would be cautious about staying in the vicinity of the main train station (Hbf) unless you are familiar with the city, as there are some shady areas near there.
