Landbier/Kellerbier specs

One of the reasons I love Belgian ales so much is I have the impression in many cases (not all, of course) that brewers do what they feel like doing, rather than making sure they adhere to guidelines. I have a feeling these Franconian landbier, zwickelbier, kellerbier, ungespundetes, lagerbier, vollbier will be a similar experience in personal interpretation. I can't wait!
