Walking from Memmelsdorf to Merkendorf?

Thanks. I picked up a mapping CD-ROM last year; it's proved useful in combination with biking/hiking maps from _Fritsch_ and _Kompass_. As Scott says, you can cab from/to anywhere, but it may not be cheap. I forget exactly how much, but I had to pay a bit of a fee even cabbing from Dörfleins to Bamberg Hbf once. One thing I've not yet experimented with is the taxi call service that you can take advantage of with the VGN: You can order a taxi to pick you up at a bus stop in the Nürnberg transit system outside bus hours from your bus driver.
