| Sorry for late reply, I only just saw this post while looking to prepare my trip to Bamberg in September. Here is a rough translation of section 9 of the Jugendschutzgesetz (JuSchG for short), law re protection of young people: 1 In restaurants, bars, stores or any other public places it is not allowed to serve or permit consumption of 1.1 spirits, spirituous drinks or food containing spirits in not insignificant measure, to children below 18 years of age, 1.2 other alcoholic beverages to children below 16 years of age. 2 Para 1.2 does not apply to children of 16 or 17 years of age that are accompanied by a parent or equivalent. |
