Getting to Merkendorf from Bamberg

Take care: buses run to another schedule in the evening (after about 19:30), and generally only in Bamberg itself. (So-called nightbuses, lines A-D) Best thing to do is go to the Stadtwerke office at the ZOB and invest one euro in the pocket-size timetable (Fahrplan).
