Couple more questions - Bamberg and Munich

I had the Augustiner Edelstoff from the barrel a few years ago and it was better than the regular version. We were there on a Friday or Saturday evening. Is it tapped every night? Some Munich beer halls do wooden barrel beers at different times. Worth catching if you can figure out when.
