Kulmbach beer fest? (and other beer fests)

The Nürnberg Altstadtfest is not the fest I'm referring to - however I found a link: http://www.nuernberg.de/service/bierfest.html (with info on the 2005 fest). For Kulmbach accomodation: It's quite some time ago that I stayed there overnight (I prefer Bamberg as base), but I seem to recall a place called Kronprinz, which wasn't bad. I also stayed at what was at that time the brewery tap of Schweizerhof, but that is comparably long ago (late 1980's). However your best bet might be the Kulmbach tourist board, check www.kulmbach.de (in german).
