Kulmbach beer fest? |

| I took a day trip with some friends (who had a car) to Kulmbach when I was in Bamberg the last week of November (2005). We visited the Museum (with small brewery) at Zum Mönchshof Bräuhaus. The museum was interesting, and the tasting room at the end was fun, and we got to sample the very limited seasonal Lebkuchen Bier. We also ate dinner in the very nice restaurant there. The Kulmbacher brewery rep told us of the summer beer fest and highly recommended it. I would really like to attend someday. There are so many beer fests in Franconia that you could probably spend a month there at the end of the summer and just go from fest to fest. Cheers |
