Bayern Tickets/railpasses

I know the ticket is good on the Nuernberg metro and trams. It is also good on the OVF busses than run thruout Oberfranken (and I assume similar for other regions). I don't know about the Bamberg city busses -- I have never tried but you could always ask. The Bayern Ticket is great because up to 5 people can travel for Euro 22 (IIRC). A single ticket for 1 person is around Euro 16. I don't know of any other passes like that (except for a day pass for the Nuernberg transit system). The Bayern Ticket is good on all trains except IC and ICE -- so you can use it on RE (Regional Express) which are much faster than the normal "local" (RB) trains. You can buy the Bayern Ticket at any train station and even at many of the ticket machines. One thing -- its not good until 9am (I think) so you can't get a real early start :)
