Belgian beer culture is what it is... I've traveled to Belgium 10 times since 1995 to seek out what is either extinct or near extinction. I guess I find that fascinating. I haven't traveled much into Germany so far. This will change and I'm going to start focusing more on the Bamberg area first... As a former professional brewer myself Belgium just seemed more esoteric and as such to me at least more appealing. The styles in Germany are more straight forward to me and this will be my focus for the upcoming trip. I want to 'know' the diversity of German Beers... ToddA
