The breweries in Passau are Hacklberg (www.hacklberg.de), Innstadt (www.innstadt.de), Loewenbraeu and Peschl. A website with beer from Passau and the region is http://www.passauer-biere.de/frHaup01.htm This is a Beer-freak-website and they mean, that the Wolferstetter dark Hefeweizen is one of the best in the region. Passau is a beautiful city with good pubs. Nearly so beautiful like Bamberg! Passau and the region around are famous for Hefeweizen, but I don`t find a good Kellerbier like in Franconia.
