One bad Bamberg Beer

Ohhh -- them's fightin' words. You probably tried the Schlenkerla smoked beer -- its the most famous and has the strongest smoke flavor. When you go back, try to visit Brauerei Spezial on Obere Königstrasse -- their smoked beer is not quite so strong and is very, very good. After a night drinking Spezial, you can move up the Schlenkerla.
