| Wow. Like a giant county fair set on the side of a hill, amongst the trees. The beers we all had were great, though not as many different ones because they were served in a 1 Liter mass. The music was mostly oldies rock (German and American) -- I had hoped for some traditional Franconian music, but didn't hear any. But there are 4 or 5 bandstands so we could have missed it. The fest beer from Hebendanz was my favorite, followed by Löwenbräu Buttenheim. I got to taste the Neder Schwarze Anna on the way out, but I was too far gone to really appeciate it. That one is first on the list for Friday's visit. |
