Schlenkerla too 'touristy?'

Gruss Gott board members. I stumbled onto the site and was immediately homesick. We spent two years in Bamberg and tried to visit every brewery in the area. We did feel the Schlenkerla was too touristy because the staff always seemed to be in a hurry to move you out. Maybe bad timing on my part, but this happened at least two or three times. I've only felt like a tourist at two places, Hofbrauhaus and the Schlenkerla.
