Last spring I had heard a new edition was in the works, but I have heard nothing since. I did hear a rumor that Stefan Mack had moved (retired?) to Spain, but I wouldn't put much faith in that. John Conen has a new version of his book out (see article on this site), but its a different sort of book than Herr Mack's -- good coverage of the area around Bamberg, though (available on the CAMRA web site) Let us know when you are headed out...
