| No, Andechs has never been imported to the US other than in the luggage of visitors. Some friends of mine and I used to compete to see who could carry the most beer back on the airplane--my last effort was 50 liters. A good chunk of that was Andechs. The stuff Huber brewed was awful. I was involved with a brewery that negotiated with Andechs to contract brew Andechs. Unfortunately the talks didn't progress to the point that a business trip to Andechs was necessary. ---Guy |
