Franconian beer is the best beer -- maybe

I would say that Frankische beer is the best value!! 1.50 Euros for a half liter outside of Bamberg. The group that hit Franconia for a week in March is composed of people that have been 100s of breweries each. We were talking recently (as we drank our own version of Ungespundetes Kellerbier from a firken) about our next trip. Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Brugges, the Hainaught, southern Belgium, Dusseldorf/Koln, The Czech Republic, Bavaria, Hungary? Nah, we want to go back to Franconia and cover more territory, with a side trip to Prague. Best beer in the universe? Who knows, but its worth two trips in a row for battle hardened veterans.
