The old and the rich will destroy Bamberg

Do you know if these people are local, or if they are outsiders attracted by Bamberg's specialness and wanting to change it to suit them? Think theres a bit of a problem with this in parts of the UK, with rich retirees coming into an area and wanting to change the way local people do things.
