Buttenheimer Löwenbräu Kellerbier

Rumours, rumours... I was told by locals at Witzgall's in Schlammersdorf, that the stuff which is tapped on the Löwenbraukeller and at the Brauereigaststätte in Buttenheim are hoppier, spicier or - in one word - more complex than the bottled "Lager" or "Ungespunds" or the stuff that is tapped anywhere else. The landlord and owner "Hansi" does not like sweet or bland beers...
So it is everyone's guess what is tapped on festivals or in a normal "Gaststätte". B.t.w.: at the source in Buttenheim they do not use Holzfässer...
For me personally, Hansi's Bier in Buttenheim is one of my long-time favourites!
