It's a dialect word:
- Schlot: chimney. In other parts of Germany, they say: Kamin (a word near to chimney) Other words: Schornstein, Rauchfantg
- Feger: a man who sweeps.
- the endintg "la" means in the region of Bamberg a kind of reduction, p.e. Seidla, Mädla, Schäufela. In the region around Würzburg they use the ending "le", p.e. Schäufele. The frontline for "la" is the region around Schweinfurt.

Weyermann has high chimneys. Much to do for chimney sweepers.

The Schlotfeger is also used as a symbol for products of the "Röstmalzbrauerei" of Weyermann. This is a brewery, where they brew the "Sinamar", a black liquid to color beer and other things (bread, sweets, soya sauce etc.). Outpot: 90 hl.

sine amaro (latin) means without bitterness. P.e. Köstritzer Schwarzbier is made with Sinamar. So this beer taste a little bit similar to a Pilsner, but have a black color. The difference to a dark beer, made with dark malts.
