It's only a matter of semantics - a diet is simply a specific food regime, such as low-carb or starch-free!  Anyway, I probably manage around 100 to 120 carbs per day, except, of course, when I have a couple of pints, real ale at 3.8 to 4.2 being around 20 units.  Walked to Old Colwyn and back, along beach and then up a big hill, around 7 kms.  So quite a good exercise day today, to be ruined with 3 pints of something tonight.  But, hell, what's the point of all this fitness anyway?  Just to enjoy the beer more!

Down the Bay Hop tonight for another dash at the ever-changing array of different ales.  I asked Chris if he would ever get any beers from the big(ger), e.g. Robinson's, etc., and he said that they were too expensive for him and the micro-breweries were much cheaper.

Well, I can always go round the corner to the Wetherspoon's, I've got to spend my vouchers sometime.  By that, you will realise that, after, nearly 50 years, I've finally joined CAMRA!
