| Thanks, that clarifies it. In the Hof/courtyard at Witzgall, there are also cases of empty bottles from other breweries like Meusel. And clear bottles of soft drinks, of different shapes. It's really a strange system to me. He gave me a receipt for 6 € for the two cases, so when I bring them back, I can get the 6 € deposit back. I guess if I only bring the cases back without the receipt, he can say I stole them or something and won't have to give me the 6 € deposit back...again, it's a strange system to an outsider. Also, this year's Festbier is not as rich as it was 3 years ago, the last time I had it. I think the former brewer was still brewing back then. |
