Sounds like fun! Salzburg is amazing for beer, simply because of the Augustine monastery, Vienna has a number of good brew pubs, Budapest is more wine orientated though I found a good beer shop and bratislava has a couple of good Czech style brew pubs. Trains are cheap, sights are expansive and there is the chance to visit 5 lovely cities in 4 countries in 10 days or so. No brainer ;)
