About "Bierkeller English"...I shouldn't make it sound like that's how people (Karin, particularly) always or even normally speak, but often, particularly when she's worked up about whatever-it-is. (Which is often.) It's not like she doesn't speak normally, conjugating properly and everything, but people do speak this other, non-proper way, too. And I think the similarity to English is purely coincidental.
