Walking guides (pub crawls)

I would suggest getting a good map of Bamberg and just plotting a route from villages with breweries. Another good walk is from Hirschaid - Robersdorf - Herrnsdorf - Sambach and/or Reundorf. You would probably need some form of transport assistance as it is a lot of walking. Another option nearby is getting a bus to Monchsambach (from Bamberg) then walking back to Burgebrach to get to the Schwanenkeller (next door is a second keller with Weiherer beers) and maybe visit Brauerei Kaiser in Grasmannsdorf (time permitting). If you can get to Greuth you could visit Fischer, Roppelt (Stiebarlimbach), the Kreuzberg Kellers and then Hallerndorf. Or the reverse, start at Eggolsheim train station and visit Witzgall (Schlammersdorf) and then Kreuzberg / Roppelt.

The reason why the Tiefenellern walk is mentioned quite often is that it is perfect for walking with approx. 3km between each brewery plus you can get public transport out and return. It also has some of the best beer experiences in the region (imo) with Brauerei Holzlein and the Griess Keller especially being highlights. I'm not sure there are any other walks that are quite so rewarding,
